Our lighting manufacturing company in Avenel, NJ, is hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. This position involves handling all daily bookkeeping tasks as well as some accounting work. The salary for this position ranges from $125k to $150k based on experience, and there is plenty of room for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Handle bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports for management review.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform some accounting tasks such as journal entries and month-end close procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred but not required).

Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 Based off experience
