Our lighting manufacturing company in Avenel, NJ, is hiring an Inventory Manager specialist to join our team. This position involves overseeing all aspects of inventory control and management, including managing reorder points, coordinating shipments from China, and making decisions regarding inventory levels and shipping methods.

Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Set and maintain reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Coordinate shipments from China, including booking containers, ordering from vendors, obtaining quotes, and arranging shipments.
• Consolidate shipments to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Monitor inventory levels and make decisions regarding shipping methods (e.g., air shipping, expedited shipping) based on demand and lead times.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory management or related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
• Experience with managing international shipments and coordinating logistics.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary: $50,000-$75,000
