Our company in Linden, NJ, is looking for a full-time in-house Purchaser/Project Manager to lead our procurement efforts for promotional and gift items. With a salary of $100k, you will be responsible for sourcing from local vendors and overseas factories to ensure we have top-notch products.

Responsibilities:

• Source promotional and gift items from local vendors and overseas factories.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers.
• Manage procurement processes and timelines to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
• Monitor industry trends and developments to identify new sourcing opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in procurement or project management.
• Knowledge of the gift and promotion industry preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for vendor meetings or factory visits.
