Our social/community services team in Boro Park is hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator to join us. This role involves reaching out to companies and employers to connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60k to $70k.

Responsibilities:

• Identify companies and employers seeking workers in the community.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and employers.
• Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
• Connect job seekers with job opportunities that match their skills, interests, and qualifications.
• Provide information and resources to job seekers regarding available employment opportunities.
• Coordinate job fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities.
• Conduct outreach activities to promote employment services and programs.
• Assist job seekers with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Track and report outreach activities, employer partnerships, and job placements.
• Stay updated on labor market trends, industry developments, and local employment opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, business administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in community outreach, employer relations, or related role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local labor market trends and industries.
• Familiarity with employment services, resources, and programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
